FieldBridge is looking for a Lead Laborer in Corpus Christi, TX. We offer weekly pay + benefits.
Pay Rate/Schedule:
$17.50/hour | Rotating 12-hour shifts (days, nights, weekends, and holidays), averaging 40–60 hrs/week | Weekly pay every Friday | Great opportunity for overtime pay | At $17.50/hr and 60 hrs/week, for example, earn weekly paychecks of $1,225 gross.
Important Notes:
- Contract assignment of 6 months to 2 years with potential to convert to full-time
- 100% onsite; immediate start
- No certifications required
Position Overview:
We are seeking a safety-focused Lead Laborer to support plant maintenance, production, and site operations for a leading oilfield services company. Reporting to the Foreman, this role combines hands-on labor and heavy equipment operation with light leadership of lower-level craftsmen.
Key Responsibilities:
- Move materials and equipment to work locations and set up job sites
- Operate heavy equipment and support routine and turnaround plant maintenance
- Prepare sites, set forms, and pour, spread, and finish concrete
- Support receiving and shipping of materials and products
- Guide lower-level craftsmen and reassign work as directed by the Foreman
Required Qualifications:
- Heavy equipment operation experience
- Mechanical aptitude and maintenance experience
- Ability to read and interpret work instructions and procedures
- Basic math and computer skills
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Commitment to safety, including proper PPE use and active participation in safety programs
- Availability for rotating 12-hour shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Self-motivated, able to work independently and as part of a team
