Lead Journeyman Electrician Lead the Crew. Build Houston.

Strong crews need strong leadership. TradeSTAR is recruiting licensed Lead Journeyman Electricians for commercial electrical opportunities with our client contractors throughout Houston, TX.

We re looking for hands-on leaders with at least 3 years of electrical crew leadership experience.

Your role on site:

• Work alongside your crew while directing daily electrical tasks

• Read blueprints and coordinate layout and installation

• Guide apprentices through conduit installation, wire pulls, rough-in, and trim-out

• Assign tasks, communicate priorities, and monitor progress

• Check work for quality, accuracy, and electrical code compliance

• Reinforce safe work practices and help apprentices develop their skills

• Communicate job progress and installation issues to site leadership

What you ll bring:

• A current TDLR Journeyman Electrician license

• 3+ years of experience as an electrical lead

• Experience supervising up to 5 apprentices

• Strong commercial electrical installation and print-reading skills

• The ability to keep a crew organized while staying productive in the field
