Lead IT Project Manager Data & BI Projects
Location: New York, NY (Hybrid: 3 days in office)

Job Summary
Seeking a Lead IT Project Manager to oversee Data & BI projects with a strong preference for candidates with Insurance/Reinsurance experience. The role requires on-site presence in NYC three days a week and managing globally distributed teams across the US, UK, and India.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and backlogs.
- Lead cross-functional teams, including data analysts and engineers.
- Communicate project updates, manage expectations, and present status reports.
- Identify and mitigate risks, develop contingency plans, and ensure quality deliverables.
- Manage project scope, schedule, and budget with proper documentation.
Qualifications
- Insurance/Reinsurance domain expertise preferred.
- Proficiency in Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Experience with Azure fundamentals, JIRA, or ADO.
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to collaborate with globally dispersed teams.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI tools.
- Familiarity with ETL processes and data integration.
- Experience in enterprise IT environments with cloud technologies.
