Description

Job Summary:
  • This is part time job (0.7 FTE - 56 hrs biweekly) but selected resource will be eligible for complete full-time benefits.
  • Required to be on site at least one day per week.
Responsibilities:
  • Reports to the Director, Human Subject Protections (Director) and works closely with the IRB Coordinator I, Chair and members of the Institutional Review Board (IRB).
  • Responsible for pre-review of items submitted for review by the IRB to confirm compliance with institutional, federal, and state policies.
  • Communicates with research investigators and their staff in an effort to facilitate the protocol submission, review and approval process.
Required Basic Qualifications:
  • 4 year Bachelor's Degree - OR - combination of relevant education & experience may be considered in lieu of Bachelor's Degree.
  • IRB Manager Experience Preferred.
  • Post Approval Monitoring Experience Preferred.
  • Broad Research Administration Experience Preferred.
  • CIP certification (must obtain within 1 year of hire)
