    Description

    As a Lead iOS / Mac OS Engineer, you are a key member of our Cocoa development team.  The Cocoa team is responsible for both desktop and mobile products.  Our iOS and Mac apps are used by some of the most creative and visually acute users on the planet - feature film directors, VFX artists, producers, and the like.  Our HD set-top boxes and Screening systems are installed at virtually every major studio and production facility.  The bottom line is, your apps will see real world use.

     

    What will you do?

        Design and implement one or more of our applications for Mac OS or iOS

        Be a key member of the Cocoa Development team building shared components across applications

        Specify and develop interfaces to the Service backend APIs

        Coordinate with Quality and Product teams on feature specification and delivery

        Work with the Account Management team to quickly resolve customer issues

     

    Requirements

        BA / BS in Computer Science

        Minimum 1-2 years work experience building Mac OS X and/or iOS applications

        Demonstrated knowledge of Objective-C, Xcode, Cocoa, Instruments, Mac OS, and iOS

        Experience with network-based applications and/or frameworks

        Loves to write great code

        Experience with QuickTime, Core Audio, Core Video, and other multi-media technologies a plus

        Familiar with development tools such as GIT, Subversion, Jira, Hudson, Bamboo, or equivalents

        Demonstrated knowledge of the entire software development life-cycle

        Knowledge of Agile development, especially Scrum

        Excellent attention to detail; very thorough work habits with good follow through

        Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills

        Strong written and communication skills

        Comfortable working in a fast-paced, changing environment

        Desire and ability to work in a team environment

        Must be willing to work at the HQ location in San Francisco
