    Overview:

    As an Inventory Associate team member, you will assist in maintaining a high level of inventory accuracy in the Chick-fil-A Supply Distribution Center (DC) in Winter Haven, FL We are looking for a highly organized team player with exceptional attention to detail and exceptional focus to join our growing team!

    Responsibilities:
    •  
      • Tracks inventory accuracy by completing internal audits and cycle counts and reports out to Leadership, including potential root causes of variances. 
      • Identify, quarantine, and report damaged, expired or supplier recalled/withdrawn product to assure it is accurately captured and removed from inventory. 
      • Ensure pick availability by responding to and finding a solution for any issue with a location error, product attributes, or location attributes. 
      • Maintain warehouse slot integrity, including slotting new or seasonal items. 
      • Effectively profile and slot SKU’s based on sales forecasts, velocities as well as product dimensions. 
      • Provides oversight of multiple programs such as: Claims, Disposals, Donations, Replenishment, Cycle Counts, and Inventory Adjustments, and assist in developing any related policies and procedures. 
      • Investigate inventory discrepancies, troubleshoot root cause and work with the Operations Team for a feasible solution.  
      • Identify process improvements throughout the Distribution Center that will increase inventory accuracy while balancing productivity. 
      • Works cross-functionally with the Restaurant Services team, Supply Planning team, and Centralized Transportation team. 
      • Provides front-line support for WMS, including issue resolution, system change or workaround communications, and low-level configuration needs. 
      • Acts as WMS liaison between DC and ETS by recording feedback and formulating requirements for future enhancements and acting as POC for work stoppages and contingency.  
      • Perform special assignments as requested. 

      Required Business Qualifications: 

      • Logical and analytical skills 
      • Intermediate proficiency of computer skills; working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Outlook 
      • Familiarity and comfort with navigating and executing in the WMS system 
      • Proven record of working independently with little oversight 
      • Exceptional attention to detail and highly organized 
      • High degree of initiative and urgency  
      • Self-Starter and comfortable with ambiguity 
      • Proactive problem solver that is solutions oriented  
      • Work in extreme temperature conditions for extended periods of time (0 degrees Fahrenheit) 
      • Complete physically demanding work, including frequently lifting up to 50 pounds and occasionally moving with mechanical assistance up to 2,000 pounds 
      • Reach, bend, and stoop while performing work 
      • Work while standing for several hours at a time 
      • Prepare for a flexible schedule including weekends, holidays and rotating shifts 
    Required Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities):
    • High School degree or equivalent 
    • 2 years of warehouse experience 
    • Deep understanding of all operational flows in the warehouse 
    • Thorough knowledge of systemic documentation and configuration 
    • Certifications: N/A

    Preferred Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities):
    • 3+ years of warehouse experience 
    • Experience in inventory control, claims management, or similar job function is a plus 
    • Material handling equipment proficiency
