Job Summary
Lead Instructional Paraprofessional Responsibilities 60% Collaborate with teachers to support high-quality instruction for individual students and small groups. Prepare and maintain instructional materials, supplies, technology, and learning environments. Support students academic, behavioral, and social-emotional development through positive behavior supports and restorative practices. Assist with implementation of schoolwide instructional and student support initiatives. Administer and assist with scoring of state, local, and classroom assessments as assigned. Maintain confidential student records in accordance with applicable laws and school policies. Supervise students during classroom, recess, lunch, arrival, dismissal, and other school activities to ensure a safe learning environment. Assist with parent conferences and communicate with staff as requested. Provide leadership when working with instructional paraprofessionals as assigned. Complete required professional development, mandated trainings, and other related duties as assigned. Expanded Learning Opportunities Program (ELOP) 40% Coordinate the daily operations of the Expanded Learning Opportunities Program (ELOP). Plan, organize, and support before-school, after-school, summer, and intersession programs. Ensure compliance with California ELOP requirements, including documentation, data collection, reporting, and continuous program improvement. Coordinate student enrollment, attendance, scheduling, and communication with families. Coordinate ELOP staff, enrichment providers, volunteers, and community partners. Support recruitment, onboarding, scheduling, and supervision of ELOP staff. Coordinate enrichment opportunities that support academic, social-emotional, physical, and enrichment learning. Assist with program budgets, purchasing, inventory, field trips, and program resources. Promote a safe, positive learning environment through effective student supervision and behavior support
