    Lead Industrial Equipment Maintenance Technician

    Location: Waukesha, WI | Reports to: Plant Manager

    Your mission

    • Keep production assets running: perform scheduled service on machinery, equipment, and facility systems.
    • Be the problem-solver: quickly troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults and restore function.
    • Own PM excellence: plan, document, and execute a sitewide preventive maintenance program.
    • Think ahead: apply predictive maintenance methods to prevent unplanned downtime.
    • Repair with precision: replace defective parts and reassemble to OEM standards.
    • Protect people and assets: perform inspections and ensure alignment with safety requirements.
    • Track the details: record work orders, parts used, and corrective actions.
    • Partner for uptime: coordinate with teammates and operations to schedule work efficiently.
    • Work safely: follow all procedures and champion a safety-first mindset.
    • Support the mission: take on additional maintenance tasks as needed.

    What you need to succeed

    • 5+ years of hands-on maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
    • Solid mechanical background and strong electrical know-how.
    • Ability to interpret schematics, prints, and technical documentation.
    • Resourceful troubleshooting skills with strong attention to detail.
    • Team-oriented and self-directed; clear communicator (written and verbal).
    • Comfort engaging with associates across the plant and at multiple levels.
    • Calm under pressure with a positive, can-do attitude against deadlines.
    • Competent in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
    • Meets physical demands: regularly lift/move up to 10 lbs; occasionally exceed 50 lbs; frequent twisting, turning, grasping, reaching, kneeling, crawling, pulling; extended standing/walking.
