About the OpportunityClient is seeking an experienced Lead HVAC Technician / Service Manager to become the founding technical leader of a new HVAC service operation serving properties throughout Maine.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HVAC professional who wants more than a traditional technician role. The successful candidate will help build the service operation from the ground up, establish operating standards, develop customer relationships, and eventually help build and lead a team of technicians.
The company will provide the startup capital, company vehicle, tools, equipment, technology, inventory, insurance, and administrative support needed to operate the business.
Important RequirementAn active Maine HVAC license is required for this position.
The position will be based in or around Augusta or Bangor, Maine, and the selected candidate must be able to perform service work in the applicable local service territory.

We do not expect one person to have experience with every type of HVAC system. We are looking for a capable, trustworthy, technically strong professional with good judgment, a strong work ethic, and the desire to take ownership of the role.

Location & ScheduleLocation: Augusta or Bangor, Maine
Service Area: Central and Southern Maine, with the initial operating territory centered around the successful candidate's location.
This is a full-time, in-person position with considerable flexibility and autonomy.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to help create an efficient schedule that balances customer responsiveness, service demands, routing efficiency, and reasonable working hours.
