    Description

    The Lead HVAC Technician/Installer is responsible for overseeing the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems. This role leads a team of technicians, ensures projects are completed efficiently and safely, and maintains high-quality workmanship while meeting customer expectations.
     
    Key Responsibilities:
    • Lead and supervise HVAC installation projects from start to finish
    • Install, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems (residential and/or commercial)
    • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
    • Ensure all work complies with local codes, safety standards, and company policies
    • Train, mentor, and support junior technicians and installers
    • Coordinate with project managers, clients, and other trades on job sites
    • Perform system testing, inspections, and quality control checks
    • Maintain tools, equipment, and inventory for job readiness
    • Provide excellent customer service and explain system operations to clients
     
    Qualifications:
    • High school diploma or equivalent (HVAC certification or trade school preferred)
    • 5+ years of HVAC installation and service experience
    • Proven leadership or supervisory experience
    • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, controls, and components
    • Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
    • EPA Certification (required)
    • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
