Job Overview: Serve as a strategic HR advisor supporting regional retail leadership. Partner with store and regional leaders to align HR strategies with business objectives, strengthen team engagement, and ensure compliance with employment laws. Must be ready to work either in Bloomington, MN or Minneapolis, MN. This is hybrid role with 3 days onsite on Tu/We/Th while WFH on M/F
Responsibilities:
  • Partner with regional and store leaders to deliver proactive HR support that enhances business performance and team experience.
  • Provide expert guidance on employee relations, performance management, organizational development, and workforce planning.
  • Foster a respectful, inclusive, and engaging work culture aligned with company values.
  • Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence to implement enterprise programs in talent development, compensation, benefits, and DEI.
  • Analyze HR data and trends to identify opportunities for process and operational improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal labor laws and regional employment practices.
  • Lead change management efforts and drive teammate engagement and retention initiatives.
  • Oversee headcount planning and partner with recruitment teams to ensure effective staffing.
Must Haves:
  • Experience managing HR operations across 50+ multi unit locations.
  • 8+ years of progressive HR experience with strong business partnering.
  • Deep understanding of state and federal employment regulations.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%.
Skills:
  • Strong relationship building and trust building abilities.
  • Skilled in coaching, change management, and analytical decision making.
  • Proven ability to work effectively with all leadership levels.
Preferred:
  • Retail industry HR experience.
  • Bilingual in Spanish.
  • SHRM or HRCI certification (PHR/SPHR).
  • Experience in union or automotive environments.
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree required.
Compensation:
  • 15% annual performance bonus.
  • No relocation or sponsorship available.
