EMR is currently seeking a hands-on, dependable Lead Heavy Equipment Cleaning Technician to oversee and perform pressure washing of heavy industrial equipment. This role is primarily focused on high-quality power washing operations, with additional responsibility for basic small engine repair and maintenance of cleaning equipment. The assigned schedule is Wednesday - Friday 7am to 3:30pm, Saturday - Sunday 5am - 1pm. Hours may change due to need. This role pays $28 - 32/hr
You will lead day-to-day cleaning operations, support a small team, and ensure equipment is cleaned safely, efficiently, and to company standards.
Key Responsibilities
Power wash heavy industrial equipment, ensuring thorough cleaning and inspection standards are met
Operate and maintain industrial pressure washing systems (Kärcher, Hotsy, or similar)
Lead and support a small team of cleaning technicians on daily assignments
Diagnose and perform basic small engine repairs and preventative maintenance on pressure washing equipment
Troubleshoot equipment issues in the field and ensure minimal downtime
Load, transport, and operate equipment using a 1-ton truck with enclosed trailer
Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements at all times
Maintain job records including equipment cleaned, work performed, and supplies used
Ensure all work is completed efficiently, safely, and on schedule
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of pressure washing / power washing experience (required)
Hands-on experience cleaning heavy equipment or industrial machinery
Basic to intermediate small engine repair experience (required or strongly preferred)
Experience operating industrial pressure washers (Kärcher, Hotsy, or similar)
Ability to lead or guide a small crew in the field
Experience driving a 1-ton truck with enclosed trailer preferred
Familiarity with trailer brake systems preferred
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed
Valid driver's license required
