This role requires deep expertise in HCM integrations, strong system design and enterprise architecture skills, and the ability to lead technically while remaining hands-on. This is a senior, hands-on engineering role for an experienced enterprise software engineer with a proven track record of designing and delivering complex integrations, mentoring developers, and driving technical excellence across teams.\n \nKey Responsibilities:\n\n Lead the architecture, design, and delivery of scalable, high-performing packaged integrations across enterprise HCM platforms, including Workday, SAP, and Oracle\n Define and drive integration architecture standards, including JSON-based APIs, connectors, error handling, and end-to-end observability\n Design, develop, deploy, and monitor packaged integration solutions\n Ensure adherence to coding standards, security requirements, performance optimization, and best practices\n Lead architecture, design, and code reviews; mentor and coach developers across the team\n Drive innovation and adoption of emerging technologies, including AI/ML-based automation and integration tooling\n Collaborate with cross-functional partners to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions\n Support solution architects in problem analysis and solution design\n Continuously improve development workflows, tooling, and code quality through best practices and automation\n Maintain technical documentation and best practices for packaged integrations\n Foster a collaborative, innovative, and continuously learning team culture\n \nQualifications:\n\n 10+ years of experience in enterprise software engineering\n Deep technical expertise in integration frameworks, JSON-based APIs, and web services (REST, SOAP)\n Proven technical leadership experience delivering integrations on at least one major HCM platform\n Hands-on experience building Workday and/or SuccessFactors integrations\n Experience developing on the Workday Extend platform, including Orchestrate and EIB\n Strong analytical and problem-solving skills\n Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills\n Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Git\n Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment\n \nBonus Qualifications:\n\n Workday certifications (Integrations, Extend, Orchestrate)\n Knowledge of Workday technical frameworks, including Business Processes, Security, Extend, and Orchestrate\n SAP Certified Integration Developer\n Experience using AI-powered developer productivity tools (e.g., Cursor, GitHub Copilot)\n \nEDUCATION\n\n* Bachelor's degree required\n \nKorn Ferry may use AI as part of its recruitment process, but all hiring decisions are made by humans.\n \nInternal Mobility at Korn Ferry\n \nIf you currently work for Korn Ferry or one of our affiliates, you must be eligible to\n\n
