    Description

    We are seeking a skilled and patient-focused Lead General Dentist to provide high-quality dental care while supporting clinical coordination, team collaboration, and consistent standards of treatment. The successful candidate will demonstrate sound clinical judgment, effective leadership, strong communication skills, and a commitment to patient comfort, safety, and ethical care.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Perform comprehensive examinations, diagnoses, treatment planning, and general dental procedures.
    • Provide preventive, restorative, and emergency dental care within the scope of licensure.
    • Review medical and dental histories and maintain accurate, timely patient records.
    • Explain diagnoses, treatment options, procedures, risks, and aftercare instructions clearly to patients.
    • Lead and support the clinical team in delivering care that follows current clinical standards, safety requirements, and applicable regulations.
    • Coordinate with dental assistants, hygienists, laboratory personnel, and other team members to support efficient patient care and accurate, well-fitting restorations and prosthetic treatments.
    • Provide clinical guidance, support team communication, and encourage consistent adherence to established procedures.
    • Monitor treatment outcomes and arrange appropriate follow-up care.
    • Support quality-improvement activities, continuing education, and the adoption of effective clinical practices.
    • Maintain a clean, organized, professional, and patient-focused treatment environment.
    • Protect patient confidentiality and promote a respectful, collaborative workplace.

    Qualifications and Requirements

    • Doctor of Dental Surgery or Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from an accredited program.
    • Current authorization to practice dentistry in the applicable jurisdiction.
    • Strong knowledge of general dentistry, diagnosis, treatment planning, restorative care, and infection control.
    • Demonstrated ability to guide or lead a dental team effectively.
    • Excellent communication, patient-care, and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong attention to detail, clinical judgment, organizational ability, and decision-making skills.
    • Ability to collaborate effectively with clinical and dental laboratory team members.
    • Commitment to ethical practice, patient confidentiality, regulatory compliance, and high-quality care.
