Position Overview We are seeking an experienced
Lead Full-Stack Application Developer (.NET & Azure) to provide hands-on technical leadership and end-to-end ownership of Azure-based software development within distributed Scrum teams. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in
C#, ASP.NET, Angular, Azure, microservices, CI/CD, DevOps, testing, and application security.
The candidate will work closely with engineering teams, Product Owners, Quality teams, clients, and leadership to translate business and technical requirements into scalable software solutions, Agile user stories, technical tasks, and supporting documentation.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the design, development, configuration, deployment, and support of enterprise APIs, web applications, and microservices in Microsoft Azure.
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and knowledge sharing to development teams.
- Drive adoption and maturity of shift-left development, CI/CD, TDD, and automated testing practices.
- Develop full-stack applications using C#, ASP.NET, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and Angular.
- Build and maintain scalable microservices and RESTful APIs.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, and Git.
- Implement infrastructure automation using Terraform.
- Develop BDD acceptance criteria using Gherkin (Given-When-Then) and maintain requirements traceability with Azure DevOps.
- Apply fail-first/TDD practices and ensure unit and automated regression tests pass before deployment.
- Work with Playwright and other automated testing frameworks for component and acceptance testing.
- Implement feature flags and runtime toggles to support safe incremental releases and maintain environmental parity.
- Perform application troubleshooting, performance tuning, resiliency testing, and scaling validation.
- Monitor applications using Azure Monitor and Application Insights.
- Implement secure coding practices and remediate vulnerabilities identified through Fortify and Sonatype scanning.
- Support API contract testing and service virtualization to enable independent microservice testing.
- Participate in production validation, dark launches, feature-toggle management, and rapid rollback activities.
- Maintain technical documentation, API contracts, architecture documentation, and knowledge-base assets.
- Collaborate effectively with geographically distributed teams within a SAFe Agile environment.
Required Qualifications- 10–12+ years of professional software development experience.
- Extensive hands-on experience developing and deploying enterprise applications in Microsoft Azure.
- Strong leadership experience guiding application teams in CI/CD and shift-left engineering practices.

- Strong experience with Azure DevOps, Git, Jenkins, and Terraform.
- Experience with microservices, APIs, automated testing, and cloud-native application development.
- Strong understanding of TDD, BDD, Gherkin, CI/CD, and automated regression testing.
- Experience with application security and code-quality tools such as Fortify and Sonatype.
- Strong troubleshooting, performance optimization, and production support experience.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor and upskill development teams.
- Excellent communication skills with both technical and business stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications- Experience with Azure Government (Azure Gov) environments.
- Knowledge of FedRAMP, FISMA, and Zero Trust Architecture.
- Experience with Playwright, API Contract Testing, and Service Virtualization.
- Experience with feature management, dark launches, and production feature toggles.
- Experience working in SAFe / Agile Scrum environments.
- Experience with disaster recovery, resiliency engineering, and performance/load testing.
