What You’ll Do

As a Lead Fire Alarm Technician, you’ll:

  • Take ownership of projects — run small crews, oversee installations, and ensure quality work.

  • Read blueprints and coordinate with managers on project updates, findings, and issues.

  • Perform installation, programming, testing, inspection, and repair of fire detection and signaling systems.

  • Communicate effectively with customers and internal teams to deliver exceptional service.

  • Document inspections accurately and follow up on any repair recommendations.

  • Mentor and train junior technicians to build the next generation of talent.

What You Bring

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • 4+ years of experience in fire protection systems (fire alarm experience required)

  • NICET Level II in Fire Alarm Systems (or ability to obtain within 18 months)

  • Strong understanding of fire protection codes and standards

  • Proven ability to lead a crew and communicate with multiple stakeholders

  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

  • A team-first attitude with the ability to stay calm, adaptable, and solutions-focused
