    Compensation: $100k-$130k base plus bonuses (Target compensation opportunity is up to $200K)


    Overview:


    Our client is seeking a Lead Financial Planning Specialist to lead and develop the planning function within a growing financial services organization in Philadelphia.


    This person will play a key leadership role in mentoring advisors, strengthening the planning culture of the office, and helping drive advisor productivity and client outcomes. The ideal candidate is both strategic and hands-on, with strong planning expertise and a passion for coaching and developing people. 


    Key Responsibilities:


    Leadership & Advisor Development:


    •  Lead, mentor, and develop newer advisors entering the organization 
    •  Help advisors strengthen their planning process, presentation skills, and overall client experience 
    •  Support career advisors and team members through coaching and consultative guidance 
    •  Create consistency and structure around financial planning best practices 



    Planning Strategy & Case Consultation:


    •  Analyze client financial situations and help develop strategic recommendations 
    •  Review planning assumptions, investment proposals, and portfolio construction with advisors 
    •  Assist advisors with brokerage, annuity, and advisory planning solutions 
    •  Stay informed on industry trends and evolving planning strategies 



    Operational & Strategic Support:


    •  Partner closely with leadership to identify growth opportunities and planning initiatives 
    •  Help build scalable systems and processes that improve advisor productivity and retention 
    •  Support operational aspects of investment account opening and servicing 
    •  Promote innovation and continuous improvement across the planning function 



    Qualifications:


    •  Strong background in financial planning and wealth management 
    •  Experience mentoring, coaching, or leading advisors and teams 
    •  Deep understanding of investment and planning concepts 
    •  Strong communication and presentation skills 
    •  Ability to balance strategic leadership with day-to-day execution 
    •  CFP® designation or on track to earn designation
    • Series 7 & 63 required



    Compensation & Growth:


    •  $100k-$130k base plus bonuses (Target compensation opportunity is up to $200K)
    •  Additional bonus opportunities tied to advisor growth, planning metrics, and business results
