    LEAD FABRICATOR / CNC Vertical Mill Programmer
    Custom manufacturing company located in New Castle, DE, is seeking a well-rounded HANDS-ON Lead Fabricator to head up our CNC Department. Candidate will be responsible for manipulation of g & m codes at machines, experience with MasterCam, setting up and operating CNC Vertical Mills (Haas VF-10, VF-4, VF-3 & Fadal) and fabrication of custom steel, aluminum and wood products. Full time day shift position. Attractive salary and benefits package.
    Duties and Responsibilities:
    • CNC programming, set up & operation of CNC Vertical Mills for standard & custom parts• Set-up and break-down of machining centers as well as scheduling PM and cleaning• Knowledge of trouble shooting machines• Create schedules for machining centers based on production schedule• Train and oversee machine operators• Must be familiar with steel and aluminum• Work on other shop equipment such as manual mills, press-brake, saws, lathe, drills, etc.• Draw, read and interpret prints, plans, sketches, and shop drawings.• Work with designers and management to achieve customers' satisfaction.• Maintain a high level of production while maintaining quality• Responding to quick turnaround orders; Some overtime required• Performing well in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment• Maintain clean equipment and work area• Forklift certified preferred• Perform related duties, as assigned
    Minimum Acceptable Qualifications:
    • Trade school graduate, or equivalent.• 5+ years of programming experience with CNC Vertical Machining Centers• Knowledge of Auto CAD, Solidworks and MasterCam• Knowledge of wood & Plexiglas a plus• Strong knowledge of shop practices and skill in using shop tools and equipment.• Ability to ACCURATELY read tape measure & blueprints and translate into fabricated products using fractions & decimal places• Experience with Laminates and veneers a plus• Must have reliable transportation• Sufficient strength and physicalEQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER
