Known for its collaborative culture and entrepreneurial mindset, the company offers employees the chance to work on high-profile projects while enjoying the support of a close-knit team.Job DescriptionPrepare complete and accurate conceptual, schematic, and detailed construction estimates.Lead quantity takeoffs, cost analysis, subcontractor solicitation, and bid leveling activities.Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and internal operations teams throughout the preconstruction process.Develop pricing strategies for design-build, negotiated, and competitive bid projects.Evaluate drawings, specifications, and project requirements to identify scope gaps and value engineering opportunities.Manage subcontractor and vendor relationships to ensure competitive pricing and accurate proposals.Support project teams during handoff and provide ongoing budget guidance as needed.Utilize industry-leading tools including OST, Autodesk Build, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, Excel, and BuildingConnected.Contribute to department growth, process improvements, and team leadership initiatives.For leadership-level candidates, provide mentorship and direction to the estimating team while driving overall preconstruction success.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
