Who We Are:

The Tactical Aerospace Department is a premier supplier for aerospace quality complex electronic systems on new and legacy DoW systems. This includes avionics, ground systems, and AI. This position has the ability to work on-site in either our San Antonio, Tx , Dayton, OH (Beavercreek, OH), or our Warner Robins, GA facility.

Objectives of this Role:
  • Provide engineering oversight for complex embedded circuit designs.
  • Perform support for Power Supply, Analog, and/or Digital circuit design while being the SME for RF circuit and amplifier designs.
  • Support digital circuit designs and integration of firmware and software.
  • Support circuit/board bring up, test, and troubleshoot activities.
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities:
  • Lead hardware designs to ensure all hardware/system requirements are met.
  • Serves as RF transceiver and Amplifier circuit SME.
  • Verifies all architectural requirements are satisfied.
  • Leads/mentors junior engineering staff in the development of circuit designs that satisfy approved architecture for system.
  • Leads Junior Engineering staff in the development and testing of embedded avionics hardware on MIL-SPEC flight-worthy hardware.
  • Travel to customer sites to support final integration testing in customer System Integration Labs and/or Fielded System/Aircraft.
Requirements:
  • Requires a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering. A Masters degree in Electrical Engineering is preferred.
  • 8+ years: Embedded hardware design and test of avionics grade transceiver, amplifier, and analog circuits.
  • Leading hardware circuit design and development teams for embedded systems.
  • Experience preferred in communication, SDR, radar, and/or airborne/ground based emitter systems.
  • A valid/clear driver's license is required.
