Job Title: Lead Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for a senior hands-on engineer to join a fast-growing tech company in the software development sector. In this role, you will contribute to owning the technical integrity of a core backend platform, building the operational backbone of a live system, and ensuring the platform's security and timely delivery.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical integrity of a core backend platform, ensuring engineering quality.
• Make build-vs-configuration calls under architectural direction and anchor a small specialist team.
• Build and deliver core software development and transaction-processing work.
• Ensure multi-tenant/multi-party security and enforce tenant isolation server-side.

Requirements

• 8–12 years of hands-on experience, with recent work you personally built and delivered.
• Experience designing and building event-driven architecture, including event sourcing/CQRS.
• Strong domain-modeling judgment and specification skills.
• Proficiency in Python and working knowledge of relational databases and serverless-first cloud-native build.

Preferred Qualifications (if any)

• Experience with configuration-driven platforms and cloud-native architecture.
• Knowledge of container orchestration and domain exposure in a data-intensive, operationally complex industry.
