The energy space is undergoing rapid and dramatic changes and Jacobs is expanding its Energy & Power team to support clients navigate the complexities of rapid deployment of reliable and sustainable energy solutions across multiple end markets.
We are seeking an energy planning lead to take a leading role in project delivery as we continue to expand our project portfolio. By joining our team, you will have the opportunity to deploy your project leadership skills to develop innovative solutions that will support growing power demands and accelerate the energy transition across North America.

The desired candidate should have experience across multiple generation technologies and will have direct experience in delivering projects within at least three of the categories listed above. Demonstrated abilities include a broad understanding of the potential energy solutions.
Primary Responsibilities
Manage internal Jacobs teams as well as external subconsultants and contractors
Here's what you'll need
Core Energy Master Planning Capabilities
Experience developing comprehensive energy master plans, including:
Load forecasting and growth scenario modeling
Infrastructure capacity assessments
Phased capital planning and investment strategies
Decarbonization and climate response planning
Familiarity with a broad range of energy solutions such as:
District energy systems (steam, hot water, chilled water)
Renewable generation (solar, wind) and energy storage
Distributed energy resources (microgrids, CHP/cogeneration)
Ability to perform or guide techno-economic analysis to evaluate alternatives and support decision-making
Experience using or guiding energy system modeling tools for optimization and scenario planning

The base salary range for this position is $140,700.00 to $220,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
