    Description

    Qualifications:


    - Lead a small FW development team hands-on, directly contributing to the code base.

    - Possess over 10 years of experience in Embedded C/C++, Microcontroller, and RTOS Development.

    - Demonstrated involvement in various full product development lifecycles.

    - Experienced in both individual contributor and project team leadership roles.

    - Hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or possess equivalent experience.

    - Skilled in off-chip peripheral integration (GPS, accelerometers, magnetometers, EEPROM, flash, A2D, Cell and Sat radios) utilizing various buses (UART, I2C, and SPI).

    - Proficient in Internet-of-Things systems with network access through wired, Wi-Fi, cell, and sat radios.

    - Experienced in developing low-power systems designed to run off batteries for extended periods.


    Responsibilities:


    - Lead the FW Team, providing daily direction to a team of four direct reports.

    - Contribute to the code base on a daily basis, spending 50% of time in coding and conducting code reviews.

    - Demonstrate a proactive and driven attitude, with a proven track record of team achievement and successful project delivery.

    - Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, emphasizing collaboration.

    - Oversee FW/Electronics Team and Test Team operations.

    - Act independently while keeping business objectives in mind.

    - Conduct objective evaluations of team performance and hold team members accountable.

    - Proven experience in successfully leading a team.
