Lead Electro-Mechanical Controls Technician

When will you work?

Schedule: Wednesday – Saturday, 5:30pm–4:00am

What will you conquer?

• Diagnose intricate faults on conveyors, sortation systems, ASRS, and packaging equipment.
• Interrogate PLC logic, VFD parameters, servo motion, and networks (Ethernet/IP, Profinet) to restore uptime quickly.
• Take ownership of key assets—address advanced timing, interlocks, and integration issues across subsystems.
• Lead RCAs and implement changes that permanently eliminate failure modes.
• Build and optimize preventive and predictive maintenance programs that drive reliability.
• Decipher complex electrical schematics and technical literature to inform efficient repairs.
• Partner with OEMs/third-party vendors for escalations, upgrades, and specialized service.
• Document work orders, parts usage, and asset performance in the CMMS to inform decisions.
• Contribute to equipment trials, upgrades, and capital projects—planning through commissioning.
• Train and mentor Maintenance Technicians I & II, elevating team capability.

What do you bring?

• Advanced electrical controls and PLC troubleshooting expertise.

• Mechanical and power transmission knowledge.
• Demonstrated leadership, mentoring, and critical thinking.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; technical coursework preferred.
• 3+ years of industrial maintenance in automated settings.
• Proven ability to lead complex troubleshooting and maintenance efforts.
• Experience using CMMS platforms.

Can you meet the physical needs?

• Stand and walk for the duration of the shift.
• Climb, balance, kneel, crouch, and crawl for extended periods as needed.
• Reach, pull, push, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Safely operate warehouse tools and equipment (pallet jack, box cutter, carts) requiring coordinated movements.
