    Description

    As a Lead Electrical Design Engineer here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will play a key role in leading electrical engineering projects. You will be responsible for overseeing the design, development, and implementation of electrical systems and components. The lead engineer will provide technical expertise, guidance, and support to the team, ensuring the successful execution of projects. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to drive innovation, improve processes, and achieve project objectives.

    You will report directly to our manager of electrical engineering and you'll work out of our Lancaster, PA location on a On-site work schedule.

    In this role, you will impact the company''s ability to deliver high-quality, innovative, and technologically advanced electrical engineering solutions. Your technical leadership and commitment to excellence will contribute to the company''s success, reputation, and growth in the industry.

    YOU MUST HAVE

    • 8+ years of experience in electrical engineering with prior experience in a lead or senior engineering role
    • Strong knowledge of electrical design principles, practices, and standards
    • Proficiency in electrical design software and tools, capable of leading design efforts and ensuring technical accuracy
    • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to address complex electrical engineering challenges
    • Experience in the US defense industry
    • Ability to obtain a US security clearance (security clearances are only granted to US citizens)

    The first autopilot in 1914, Charles Lindbergh’s first successful solo flight across the Atlantic in 1927, Amelia Earhart’s landmark flight in 1932, and the world’s first sonic boom in 1947, were all made possible because of aviation technology developed by Honeywell and its legacy companies.

Sperry brought computer technology to the cockpit with electronic flight instrument systems, flight management systems and other digital technology, and Bendix introduced the first commercial weather radar system.Today, Honeywell Aerospace continues to innovate in the frontier of flight safety with traffic alert and collision avoidance technologies, the AlliedSignal Enhanced Ground Proximity Warning System, and systems that help pilots avoid severe weather and hazards such as lightning and wind shear.
