Lead Drafter (OSP - Telecom)
Plans, assigns, controls, and reviews the work of drafters and other employees working on design projects. Establishes deadlines, develops goals, and determines production standards for the department. Analyzes data and reviews drawings and plans to ensure work quality.
Requires 4-6 years of experience in the design and drafting of Outside Plant Copper/Fiber Optic cabling networks and associated structures (e.g. utility poles, manholes, conduits, and etc.) Qualified individuals are experienced in leading a group of drafters to accomplish the drafting of buried, aerial, and underground telecommunications cable systems. Candidates must be familiar with OSP Engineering standards, practices, and construction methods.
