Lead Data Modeler (Credit Modeling) Location: Phoenix, AZ or Dallas, TX (Hybrid – 3–4 days onsite per week) Duration: Contract
Key Responsibilities
Lead data modeling initiatives for banking and credit-related domains.
Act as the primary liaison between the Data Program, Lending & Credit Division, and Enterprise Data Modeling team.
Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to define data requirements and ensure alignment with enterprise standards.
Design and maintain logical and conceptual data models supporting credit and lending initiatives.
Ensure data quality, consistency, governance, and compliance across data models.
Coordinate project deliverables, timelines, and cross-functional communication.
Support reporting and analytics teams with well-structured data models.
Required Skills & Experience
10+ years of experience in Data Modeling and Data Management.
Strong banking domain experience, with mandatory Credit/Lending data modeling experience.
Experience leading data modeling initiatives and coordinating cross-functional delivery.
Strong understanding of enterprise data modeling methodologies and best practices.
Hands-on experience with:
Power BI
Databricks
Enterprise Data Modeling tools (ERwin, ER/Studio, or similar)
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
