Lead Data Modeler (Credit Modeling)
Location: Phoenix, AZ or Dallas, TX (Hybrid – 3–4 days onsite per week)
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Lead Data Modeler with strong banking and credit modeling expertise to support enterprise data initiatives. The ideal candidate will act as a liaison between the data program, lending and credit business teams, and the enterprise modeling team. This is a functional and delivery-focused role with no hands-on coding required.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead data modeling activities for lending and credit-related initiatives.
- Collaborate with business, data, and enterprise modeling teams to align data models with business requirements.
- Coordinate delivery and ensure data modeling standards are followed.
- Support reporting and analytics initiatives using enterprise data platforms.
Required Skills
- Strong experience in Data Modeling (Credit Modeling is mandatory)
- Banking/Financial Services domain experience
- Delivery Management experience
- Power BI
- Databricks
- Data Modeling tools (e.g., Erwin, ER/Studio, or similar)
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
Nice to Have
- Experience working with enterprise data governance and lending data domains.
