Pay: $26.00$29.00 per hour, depending on experience
Hours: MondayFriday, 3:00 PM11:30 PM during the school year; 10:00 AM6:30 PM during school vacations and summer

As a Lead Custodian, you'll guide a team while staying hands-on with daily cleaning and facility maintenance. You'll work closely with the custodial team and school community to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.
What You'll Do
As a Lead Custodian, you will be responsible for
Lead, supervise, and schedule a team of approximately six custodial employees.
Perform daily cleaning and custodial duties alongside the team.
Assign responsibilities, monitor completed work, and maintain established cleaning standards.
Coordinate facility cleaning, event setup and cleanup, and winter weather response.
Monitor supplies, report maintenance concerns, operate floor-cleaning equipment, and manage building security procedures.
What You'll Bring
The ideal candidate for this role will have
A high school diploma or equivalent.
Three to five years of custodial or facilities maintenance experience, including one to two years of supervisory or team-lead experience.
Knowledge of cleaning procedures, supplies, equipment, workplace safety, and building security systems.
Strong communication, organizational, problem-solving, and technology skills, with the ability to use Google Workspace and Microsoft Office.

Location & Schedule
This position is on-site in Portland and offers MondayFriday hours, with a 3:00 PM11:30 PM schedule during the school year and a 10:00 AM6:30 PM schedule during school vacations and summer. Flexibility and overtime may be needed for school events and winter weather.
