Lead Cook- Las Flores Olde Town Mex
Las Flores Olde Town Mex, part of the Maximus Hospitality & Management family, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Lead Cook to join our team. As a Lead Cook, you will play a vital role in delivering authentic Tex-Mex flavors, ensuring the kitchen runs smoothly, and inspiring the team to deliver exceptional dining experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook dishes according to recipes, maintaining the high quality and consistency Las Flores is known for.
- Oversee kitchen operations during shifts, ensuring efficient workflows and adherence to health and safety standards.
- Train and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a team-oriented and positive environment.
- Assist in inventory management, food preparation, and portion control to minimize waste and manage costs.
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef and management to improve kitchen processes and develop new menu items.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a cook, preferably in a Tex-Mex or high-volume restaurant setting.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide and motivate a team.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Knowledge of kitchen safety and sanitation standards.
- Passion for cooking and creating memorable dining experiences.
