This is a casual, grant funded position which is subject to renewal on 06/30/2030.

JOB SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for overall coordination of the assigned Transforming Mental Health Programs. The Lead Program Coordinator works under the direction of the Manager and assists with oversight of deliverables for assigned programs. The Lead Coordinator coordinates all logistics of program planning, implementation and evaluation to ensure that all program deliverables are met according to the timeline of all grants and contracts. The Lead Coordinator assists Manager in delegating tasks to Coordinators and specialists as appropriate. The Lead Coordinator also functions as a community liaison and identifies and creates new relationships within the hospital system and external organizations to enhance current programs. They would be the representative at booths and tables for scholarly conferences and community events. The position contributes to future program planning. The Lead Coordinator will develop and implement needs assessment tools to expand programming to other communities, investigate funding opportunities, and prepare grant applications to secure funding for programs as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's Degree in area of Study in a Field Related to the Position

2 years of experience

CA Driver's License

Proof of Auto Insurance

Experience in designing community-based programs, data collection, and evaluation

Demonstrated experience implementing public health programs

Experience with survey methods and outcome evaluations

Strong organizational and time management skills; excellent verbal skills and written communication

skills, and ability to adapt to various audiences

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Master's Degree

2 years of experience

Experience organizing large events

Knowledge of education and community health principles and practices

Strong community and local hospital relationships

Demonstrated ability to create tracking databases and analyze outcomes

The current salary range for this position is $29.48 to $40.55
