Responsibilities

• Program, set up, and operate CNC mills and lathes while maintaining quality and production standards.
• Lead, train, and mentor CNC operators on machine setup, safety, production, and best practices.
• Perform machine setups, offsets, tool changes, simple program edits, milling, turning, drilling, tapping, and inspections.
• Inspect in-process and finished parts using precision measuring equipment to ensure specifications are met.
• Troubleshoot machining issues, perform basic machine maintenance, and communicate equipment concerns to leadership.

 
Qualifications

• 10+ years of CNC machining experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Previous experience as a Lead Machinist or CNC Supervisor.
• Hands-on experience with CNC Mills and Lathes, including Mazak, OKK, Niigata, and Puma machines.
• Experience with ERP systems (Epicor preferred) and Microsoft Office.
• Strong blueprint reading, math, problem-solving, and inspection skills using calipers and other precision measuring instruments.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work overtime as needed.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
• Ability to pass a preemployment screening

 
Competitive pay: $32-$38/hour
1st Shift Schedule (Monday through Friday 7 am to 5:30 pm) (OT as needed)
