Job Summary
The Lead Clinical Informatics Systems Adoption Specialist, Oracle Health Phys Track leads training, onboarding, readiness, workflow adoption, and optimization activities. Designs and delivers role-based EHR education for physicians, advanced practice providers, residents, fellows, and other authorized provider users across inpatient, ambulatory, emergency, procedural, and specialty settings.
Develops and maintains provider-focused curricula and competency assessments and supports end users during implementations, conversions, upgrades, enhancements, optimizations, go-live events, and stabilization periods. Collaborates with physician informatics, clinical leadership, operational teams, application teams, project teams, education partners, and provider champions to ensure training reflects approved workflows and configured EHR functionality.
Supports provider workflow validation and test-script activities, evaluates training and adoption outcomes, and recommends targeted improvements. The Lead serves as a trusted physician-workflow subject matter expert who guides complex initiatives with limited direction and mentors P1-P3 adoption specialists. This position independently owns assigned training and adoption initiatives from planning through sustainment

Essential Functions
Patient & Customer Impact
Plans and delivers role-based Oracle Health Cerner education and onboarding using instructor-led, virtual, simulation-based, individualized, and on-demand learning methods that support safe, effective, and efficient clinical workflows.
Coordinates provider onboarding, workflow practice, readiness activities, and competency validation for assigned specialties, departments, and clinical roles.
Provides advanced end-user support during implementations, conversions, upgrades, optimization initiatives, go-live events, and stabilization activities.
Supports adoption of approved workflows that promote clinician efficiency, patient safety, quality outcomes, and regulatory compliance.
Execution & Accountability
Independently manages assigned physician adoption, training, readiness, and onboarding activities with limited supervision.
Develops and maintains provider-focused curricula, lesson plans, workflow scenarios, presentations, job aids, and competency assessments.
Maintains training-content libraries and supporting documentation using established content-management and version-control standards.
Defines, tracks, and analyzes provider training completion, competency, readiness, feedback, and adoption metrics.
Maintains required training, readiness, workflow-validation, and adoption-support documentation
Collaboration & Partnership
Partners with physician informatics, application teams, provider leadership, operational stakeholders, education teams, and project teams to support workflow adoption and organizational readiness.
Coordinates physician champion and provider super-user engagement activities, including preparation, communication, feedback collection, and workflow reinforcement.
Represents physician training, competency, readiness, and adoption requirements in project, workflow design, testing, implementation, and optimization of discussions.
Shares knowledge, provides guidance, and supports professional development of P1-P3 adoption specialists through coaching, consultation, and best-practice sharing.
Improvement & Innovation
Conducts workflow assessments to identify training gaps, workflow variation, adoption barriers, and opportunities to improve provider utilization of clinical systems.
Evaluates training effectiveness, provider feedback, readiness outcomes, and adoption results to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Updates learning materials, competency tools, workflow guides, and adoption resources to support approved optimizations and workflow enhancements.
Recommends improvements to educational strategies, workflow reinforcement approaches, and sustainment activities based on measurable outcomes and organizational needs.
