WSP is currently initiating a search for a Lead Civil Engineer for our Madison, WI and/or Lakewood, CO office. Be involved in projects with our Earth & Environment Team and be a part of a growing organization that meets our clients' objectives and solves their challenges.
In this role you will lead tasks related to civil and environmental engineering projects with a primary focus on the energy and waste industries, but may also be involved in other business sectors such as mining, industrial, and transportation. The successful candidate will be able to lead and support a diverse range of topics under the broad umbrella of civil engineering, such as: hydrology, hydraulics, civil design, water management, preparation of construction documents, regulatory compliance, and surface water management. Work includes integration and collaboration with related geotechnical, geologic, and environmental efforts. An appreciation for high quality, effective communication, and client-focused work products is essential. Some travel will be required.
Within this role you will provide technical assistance and guidance for civil and water infrastructure projects in the public and private sector. Tasks may include assisting with research, design, conceptual development, planning, and construction of waste containment facilities, water supply systems, and groundwater monitoring networks. A successful candidate is expected to write and review reports and documentation regarding material, installation, and construction specifications, while ensuring that responsibilities are delivered and adhered to with a level of quality that meets or exceeds acceptable industry standards for design, safety, and functionality.

Compensation:
Expected Salary (Colorado Only): $111,000 - $155,600
WSP USA is providing the compensation range that the company in good faith believes it might pay and offer for this position, based on the successful applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities in addition to internal equity and specific geographic location. WSP USA reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on circumstances not related to an applicant's sex or other status protected by local, state, and/or federal law.
