About the Role
Essential HealthCare Solutions, LLC is seeking experienced Registered Nurses to serve as Lead / Charge RN anchoring one of the three LCEC shelter sites in North Fort Myers. As the senior clinician on-site, you own the shelter medical station, maintain the one-RN-on-site minimum for your site, direct the deployed LPNs and CNAs, and act as the clinical point of contact for LCEC site management and EMS.
This is a leadership role for a nurse with charge, house-supervisor, or crisis-response experience who thrives in high-tempo, austere environments.
Deployment Locations & Environment
Deployable to any of the three LCEC-designated shelter sites in North Fort Myers (Lee County), and to other facilities identified in writing by the Cooperative during an activation:
Shelter occupants may include Cooperative employees, line crews, vegetation-management contractors, mutual-aid personnel, emergency-operations staff, and authorized support personnel — populations of 50 to 500+ operating continuously for 24 hours to 14 days.

This is activation-based work. Deployments are triggered by storm events — from up to 72 hours before anticipated landfall, through impact, and into recovery — for periods of 24 hours to 14 consecutive days. You will work 12-hour shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays, in shelter and temporary-facility settings. Meals and lodging are provided during qualifying deployments, and PPE is supplied.
Upon activation, you acknowledge the assignment within one (1) hour and confirm availability, roster placement, estimated deployment time, and emergency-contact information.
