At Freedom Home Care, we're looking for an experienced caregiver who is ready to take the next step into leadership. As a Caregiver Mentor / Team Lead, you'll continue providing exceptional one-on-one care while serving as a coach, mentor, and trusted resource for our caregiving team.

What You'll Do
- Provide exceptional, compassionate care to clients in their homes.
- Mentor, coach, and support caregivers in the field.
- Assist with new caregiver orientation, training, and onboarding.
- Complete quality assurance visits and client check-ins.
- Build positive relationships with clients, families, and caregivers.
- Help solve care concerns and support scheduling needs.
- Collaborate closely with our office team to ensure excellent client care.
- Participate in the on-call rotation for urgent client needs.
- Attend leadership meetings, trainings, and company events.
Schedule
- Monday–Friday standard schedule
- One weekday on-call rotation (8:00 AM–10:00 PM)
- Weekend on-call rotation approximately every 5th weekend
What We're Looking For
- At least one year of caregiving or home care experience preferred.
- A positive attitude with a passion for helping others succeed.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Dependable, organized, and solution-oriented.
- Comfortable coaching, mentoring, and providing constructive feedback.
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance.
- Ability to travel throughout the Mankato and Owatonna service areas.
- Ability to safely assist clients with personal care and mobility needs.
