What you will do in this role: Follow the same requirements as Echo staff technologists while performing exams on patients.With the assistance of the Director/Manager, assess regulatory compliance, quality assurance issues, and operational functions of all patient care areas within the department; provide data for Performance Improvement (PI) plans.Promote teamwork and leadership within the department and the hospital, including facilitating communication between staff and physicians.Assist in the management of staff concerns, including performance issues and clinical activities.Create and maintain staffing schedules through PTO requests; monitor and adjust staff productivity hours based on patient volumes.Continually assess the professional performance of the staff in collaboration with the director, manager, and cardiologists.Maintain thorough knowledge of policies, procedures, and regulations as they pertain to Cardiovascular Services and Echo.Assist with staff meetings as needed and perform other duties as assigned.What qualifications you will need:Graduation from an accredited school of ultrasonography, echocardiography, and/or radiologic technology preferred.Current ARDMS (AE) and/or CCI certification required.Five years of post-graduate experience preferred; prior supervisor or management experience required.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Benefits TriStar Hendersonville Medical Center, offers a total rewards package that supports the health, life, career and retirement of our colleagues.
