The Lead Business Analyst provides senior business analysis and functional leadership for the CaseBuilder platform within Professional Services. This role reports to the Senior Director, Professional Services. This role bridges customer implementation needs with product development by translating strategic initiatives, implementation experience, and business requirements into prioritized, development-ready solutions. Working closely with Product Management, Engineering, QA, and implementation teams, the Lead Business Analyst drives functional analysis, backlog readiness, solution governance, and process improvement while ensuring the platform continues to evolve in alignment with customer needs and organizational priorities. This role plays a key leadership role in strategic platform modernization, user experience improvements, and major product enhancement initiatives by partnering with Engineering and Product Management to define functional requirements and accelerate delivery.

Compensation: At SoundThinking, we are committed to equitable compensation practices and consider a variety of factors, including skills, experience, and work location. The typical base salary range for this role is $127,000-$138,000 annually. This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus, sales incentives, equity, or benefits, where applicable.
Hybrid Workplace
SoundThinking follows a hybrid schedule for employees who live equal to or less than 50 miles from one of our office locations, which include Fremont, CA, Tucson, AZ, Washington, D.C., Orlando, Florida, or Iselin, NJ. Employees are expected to work onsite for a minimum of 3 days per week, unless the advertised role has a specific on-site requirement. The specific days for in-office are dependent on the office location.
