    Title: Lead Business Analyst - Digital Asset Trading

    Location: 550 S Tryon St Charlotte, NC

    Duration: 6 months

    Work Engagement: W2

    Work Schedule: 3 days in office/2 days remote

    Summary:

    We are seeking an experienced Lead Business Analyst to support strategic initiatives within the Digital Asset Trading space. This role will serve as a key liaison between business, technology, architecture, and data management teams, driving the analysis, planning, and delivery of complex trading and data-focused solutions. The ideal candidate will bring deep Capital Markets expertise, strong Agile delivery experience, and a proven track record leading business analysis efforts within digital assets or trading environments.

    Responsibilities:

    • Lead business analysis activities for Digital Asset Trading initiatives.

    • Gather, analyze, document, and manage business, technology, data, and architecture requirements.

    • Partner with stakeholders across business, technology, data management, and governance teams to drive solution delivery.

    • Translate complex business needs into actionable user stories, features, epics, and acceptance criteria.

    • Maintain end-to-end traceability of requirements and support delivery tracking throughout the project lifecycle.

    • Develop and manage execution plans, project milestones, dependencies, RAID logs, governance artifacts, stakeholder communications, and status reporting.

    • Coordinate business testing activities across all environments, ensuring successful validation and implementation.

    • Support data strategy and governance initiatives through the definition and adoption of reusable, governed data products.

    • Drive alignment among stakeholders to minimize custom point-to-point integrations and promote scalable enterprise data solutions.

    • Collaborate with teams supporting regulatory, risk, finance, accounting, operational reporting, and data governance functions.

    • Contribute to initiatives involving real-time messaging platforms and trading ecosystem integrations.

    Qualifications:

    • Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

    • 7+ years of Business Analysis, Data Management, Capital Markets, or related experience

    • Lead Business Analyst experience supporting Digital Asset Trading initiatives

    • Knowledge of WCDM, CDM, or canonical data models

    • Experience gathering and implementing business, technology, and architecture requirements

    • Strong Agile expertise, including Jira, user stories, acceptance criteria, traceability, and delivery tracking

    • Experience managing project plans, milestones, dependencies, RAID logs, governance materials, and status reporting

    • Business testing coordination experience across multiple environments

    • Experience with real-time messaging applications

    • Knowledge of FX and Commodity products

    • Experience in Capital Markets, FX Trading, Digital Assets, Cryptocurrency, or Riskless Principal Trading

    • Familiarity with Common Domain Model (CDM), trade data models, and industry data standards

    • Experience supporting regulatory, risk, finance, accounting, operational reporting, or data governance initiatives

    • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and organizational skills

    • Ability to work independently and drive initiatives with minimal supervision

    • Experience translating complex data strategy, governance, and architecture concepts into actionable delivery plans

    • Proven ability to influence stakeholders toward scalable, governed data solutions and reusable data products
