About the TeamThe Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) program at The Children’s Institute of Pittsburgh provides comprehensive and holistic services for children with autism and related disorders between the ages of 18 months to 21 years old. We offer a range of programs, including both individual and Group Therapy to best meet the needs of each child. We provide individual and group ABA services in a clinical setting. Parent training is a key part of our program and can occur in person in the clinic or via telehealth. The ABA program collaborates directly with in-house speech, occupational therapy, physical therapy, behavioral health, and nutrition/feeding programs where appropriate. About the PositionThe Lead Board Certified Behavior Analyst (Lead BCBA) provides clinical leadership and oversight for the development, implementation, and monitoring of individualized Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) treatment plans for children, adolescents, and young adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder and related developmental needs. This role delivers advanced, culturally responsive, trauma-informed, and data-driven IBHS services; conducts behavioral assessments; supervises and mentors direct care staff; supports program quality; and ensures services meet clinical, regulatory, payer, and ethical standards. The Lead BCBA is accountable for achieving meaningful client outcomes through interdisciplinary collaboration, treatment fidelity, family engagement, staff development, and continuous quality improvement across clinic, community, school, home, and telehealth settings as clinically appropriate.
