We are looking for a highly motivated, customer-focused Lead Bartender to join our team at Westin Tampa Bay.Responsibilities Greet guests as they arrive or move around the bar area.Maintain proper and adequate setup of the bar daily.Guide guests on their beverage journey through descriptive selling of the menu.Accurately take orders, confirming all special requests.Be the master of the bar, understanding details to enhance conversation.Work collaboratively with other restaurant servers and kitchen/bar staff.Assist guests who have concerns and guide them to a resolution that leaves them satisfied.Finalize the experience through timely and accurate bill presentation.Requisition, stock, and store all beer, wine, and spirits; maintain inventory of fresh fruit, vegetable garnishes, juices, and other perishables.Mix, garnish, and present drinks following standard ingredient recipes and practicing portion control.Input orders into a register at the point of sale and create a check for each guest.Lock up and store all beverages, food, and equipment; deposit cash drops and secure the bank.Qualifications Engaging and welcoming personality.Current bartending certification or appropriate license.Knowledgeable in the latest mixology trends.Proficient in descriptive selling of drinks.2-4 years of bartender experience.Strong knowledge of wine, beer, cocktails, and spirits.Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.Passion for creating an exceptional experience for all guests.Excellent communication skills.Compensation $10.98 - $10.98 per hour.EEO Statement Pyramid Global Hospitality is an equal opportunity employer.
