We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Automation Platform Engineer to help drive the transformation of our enterprise SD-Branch environment into a fully automated, standardized Branch platform. This role is focused on building scalable zero-touch provisioning (ZTP) solutions, workflow orchestration, and infrastructure automation that significantly reduce manual operational effort across Branch deployments.

This is a hands-on engineering role for someone who thrives in complex enterprise environments and has experience designing automation platforms, orchestration workflows, and Infrastructure-as-Code solutions at scale.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement a unified enterprise Branch automation architecture
• Build end-to-end zero-touch provisioning (ZTP) workflows for Branch deployments
• Develop stateful orchestration workflows using Temporal, ORCA, or similar technologies
• Integrate Nautobot as the authoritative source of truth for topology, IPAM, and Branch intent
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub and GitHub Actions
• Implement Infrastructure as Code solutions using Terraform (HCL)
• Develop operational automation solutions using Ansible
• Expose automation services and APIs through Apigee
• Instrument automation workflows and infrastructure telemetry using Grafana and Prometheus
• Automate day-0, day-1, and day-2 Branch operations
• Improve deployment speed, operational consistency, and overall platform reliability

Required Qualifications

• Senior-level hands-on Python development experience
• Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/HCL)
• Deep expertise with Ansible-based automation
• Experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
• Strong experience with Cisco SD-WAN / SD-Branch technologies
• Experience building zero-touch provisioning (ZTP) solutions
• Experience with workflow orchestration platforms such as Temporal, ORCA, or similar
• Strong understanding of API-driven automation architectures
• Experience integrating IPAM and source-of-truth platforms such as Nautobot
• Familiarity with observability tools such as Grafana and Prometheus
• Experience working in large-scale enterprise environments
• Ability to independently drive automation initiatives from design through implementation

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AI-assisted engineering or AI-driven automation workflows
• Experience building reusable automation frameworks and self-service infrastructure platforms
• Strong understanding of network lifecycle automation and operational resiliency
