Akkodis is seeking a Lead for a Contract job with a client in Austin, TX / Sunnyvale, CA / Raleigh, NC. The ideal candidate must have extensive experience leading Banking and Financial Services testing initiatives, including End-to-End (E2E), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and Regression Testing.
Rate Range: $38/hour to $60/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Lead job responsibilities include:
Lead and coordinate End-to-End (E2E), UAT, Regression, and Functional Testing activities across banking applications and platforms.
Develop comprehensive test strategies, test plans, test scenarios, and quality management processes aligned with business objectives.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, development teams, product owners, and project managers to ensure complete test coverage and successful project delivery.
Manage defect tracking, triage, reporting, and resolution using tools such as HP ALM/Quality Center, Jira, and Confluence.
Define testing goals, quality metrics, KPIs, and measurement plans to support software quality and continuous improvement initiatives.
Analyze business and technical requirements, assess application functionality, and identify potential quality risks.
Support Agile and Waterfall delivery models while promoting industry best practices, automation initiatives, and quality assurance standards.
Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
10+ years of experience in Software Testing, Quality Assurance, or Test Management.
Minimum 3+ years of experience as a Test Lead supporting Banking or Financial Services projects.
Strong experience with: End-to-End Testing (E2E), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Regression Testing, Functional Testing, Defect Management, Test Planning & Execution
Strong understanding of: SDLC Methodologies, Agile & Waterfall Frameworks, Test Metrics & Reporting, Automated Testing Frameworks, Industry Testing Standards
Hands-on experience with: HP ALM / Quality Center, Jira, Confluence, Git / Bitbucket, Maven, Postman, SoapUI
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience supporting Digital Banking platforms and applications.
Knowledge of Microsoft Test Management tools.
Experience with AI and Automation Testing initiatives.
Familiarity with enterprise test automation frameworks and CI/CD environments.
Experience working on large-scale banking transformation and modernization projects.

Pay Details: $38.00 to $60.00 per hour
