Lead/Architect Cloud Developer – AWS/Python

Position : Lead/Architect Cloud Developer AWS/Python

Location : Remote, but only for Eastern, Central, and Mountain Time zone candidates.

Duration : long term contract

Key Requirements:

• 14+ years of development experience preferred
• Strong AWS + Python development experience
• Previous Java development experience is highly preferred
• 5+ years of Python experience
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS Lambda
• Terraform / IaC
• AWS Step Functions & CloudWatch
• Kafka and API development
• Strong backend development skills
• System design experience
• Must be hands-on and writing code daily
• AWS certification is a plus

Important: Looking for a true application/backend developer, not DevOps, Infrastructure, Platform, Data, Front-End, or Full-Stack candidates. Azure experience alone is not relevant.

Ideal Profile: A senior Java developer who moved into Python + AWS Cloud and still actively codes
