Description

Job Title: Lead AI Architect Microsoft Copilot Studio / Low-Code Platform
Location: Piscataway, NJ
Position type: W2 contract
Duration: 12 months
Job type: onsite/Hybrid.

Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience architecting and delivering AI, Generative AI, and machine-learning solutions, with strong expertise in Microsoft Copilot Studio and Microsoft Power Platform/low-code platforms, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse. The candidate should be capable of rapidly developing POCs and working prototypes and have Lead Architect-level experience across modern application, integration, cloud, and AI architecture patterns. Strong knowledge of LLMs, RAG, agentic AI, prompt engineering, model APIs, embeddings, vector stores, and AI integrations is required. Experience with at least one major cloud platform, preferably Microsoft Azure, along with Docker, Kubernetes, serverless services, REST/GraphQL APIs, microservices, event-driven architecture, messaging/streaming, and enterprise integration patterns is highly desirable. Proficiency in Python and/or Java, rapid prototyping, scripting, CI/CD, Git, Infrastructure as Code, automated testing, and architecture modeling/documentation using C4, UML, ArchiMate, and ADRs is expected.

Requirement:
The candidate must demonstrate strong ability to translate business and technical requirements into scalable, secure, resilient, and cost-effective enterprise solutions and communicate architecture decisions effectively to both technical and business stakeholders. Experience with enterprise data and information architecture, including data modeling, relational and NoSQL databases, data lakes/warehouses, ETL/ELT pipelines, data governance, metadata, and AI knowledge architectures is preferred. Experience with enterprise Power Platform governance, ALM, solution management, deployment pipelines, AI-agent architecture, Azure AI/Azure OpenAI, and enterprise API integrations will be highly valued. Prior experience supporting Finance, Controllers/Financial Control, or related business processes is preferred but not required.
