    Description

    ASRC Federal Cyber is hiring a Lead Access Control Clerk to support a Navy contract at Naval Surface Warfare Center in Dam Neck, Virginia. The Lead Access Control Clerk will be responsible for daily access control operations while providing oversight and hands-on training to team members. The ideal candidate is highly professional, an effective communicator, detail-oriented, well experienced in security operations with the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment. Must have a current active DOD Top Secret clearance or an active DOD Secret clearance and be able to obtain Top Secret with SCI eligibility within 18 months.Compensation:$25.01 + $5.09 health and welfare bonus an hour.Responsibilities:

    Work with the Site Lead to schedule the ensure Access Control coverage for the organization.Lead and train access control and escort team members on established access control policies and procedures to include but not limited to daily badge inventory, clearance/VAR verifications, opening and closing procedures and daily operations.Support program planning, metrics, and GOV SME requests; communicate effectively orally and through written reports in specified formats.Provide oversight of the transmission, receipt, tracking, and destruction of classified material per DOD/DON policies.Support the government onboarding/offboarding process.Other duties as assigned

    Requirements:

    Two (2) years of experience in the area of access control for cleared facilities and classified control.Must be able to work Monday through Friday with potential weekends and holidays.Prior experience leading access control or visitor management teams in a cleared facility a plus.Strong organizational and leadership skills.Experience in personnel security and physical security.Active DOD Top Secret clearance or an active DOD Secret clearance with eligibility to obtain Top Secret with SCI eligibility within 18 months.Ability to use the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint).Experience in the use of clearance verification systems, badge access and alarm systems and the escorting of uncleared (personnel without US security clearances) personnel within classified spaces.Knowledge of the Lenel Enterprise Control/Intrusion Detection System (IDS) and Defense Information System for Security (DISS).
