Lead 4k Teacher

Little Wonders Learning Center is seeking a dependable, energetic, and caring Lead 4K Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with preschool-aged children and a passion for preparing students for kindergarten.

The Lead 4K Teacher will create a safe, structured, engaging, and nurturing classroom where children can develop academically, socially, emotionally, and physically.

• Plan and implement age-appropriate 4K lessons and classroom activities.
  Maintain a safe, clean, organized, and welcoming classroom.
• Follow the approved 4K curriculum and daily classroom schedule.
• Prepare lesson plans and maintain required student records.
• Track student attendance, development, assessments, and progress.
• Support kindergarten readiness in literacy, math, science, social skills, and motor development.
• Establish positive classroom expectations and behavior-management practices.
• Communicate professionally with parents and guardians.
• Supervise children during classroom activities, meals, outdoor play, rest time, and transitions.
• Work cooperatively with assistant teachers, administrators, and other staff members.
• Follow all Little Wonders Learning Center policies and South Carolina childcare requirements.
• Participate in staff meetings, training, professional development, and center events.
