L&D Designer/Developer

Location: Greenville, SC

Onsite Flexibility: Remote supporting eastern time zone

Contract Details

  • Position Type: Contract
  • Contract Duration: 13 months
  • Pay Rate: $60.00 $70.00 / Hour (USD)
  • Travel Requirements: Not required

Job Summary

The LMS Administrator supports enterprise (US, Canada, and Global) learning initiatives by configuring, maintaining, and optimizing the TD "MyLearning" LMS platform on SumTotal LMS. This role ensures accurate audience targeting, compliance with training requirements, and efficient execution of LMS operations. The analyst collaborates with stakeholders to deliver scalable learning solutions and maintain high standards of data integrity and user experience.

Key Responsibilities

Audience Scoping & Configuration

  • Lead reviews of audience requirements with course owners and stakeholders.
  • Create and store audience documentation, including the Audience Approval Document.
  • Build and quality check LMS audiences against approval documentation.
  • Implement post-launch audience changes as needed.

LMS Operations

  • Process Business Learning Needs Requests (LNRs) and LMS maintenance requests.
  • LMS testing and configuration of eLearning courses.
  • LMS configuration of Instructor-Led training and Virtual courses.

Collaboration & Support

  • Partner with Learning Solutions Architects/Advisors (LSAs), Program Managers, L&D Designers/Developers, and HR data teams.
  • Provide guidance on LMS capabilities and configuration best practices.

Documentation & Compliance

  • Completion of LMS Specifications Documentation.
  • Maintain accurate records of configuration decisions and approvals.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and operational standards.

Required Skills

  • Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
  • Ability to interpret and apply HR data for audience targeting
  • Effective communication and stakeholder engagement
  • Experience with ticketing systems and workflow tools (ServiceNow for tickets, JIRA for work items)
  • Ability to lead meetings and document requirements for how learning courses should be configured in the LMS tool
  • Technical background to create lists using a rules-based system
  • Experience setting up custom notifications and overdue reminders when courses are assigned

Preferred Skills

  • TD experience / financial services experience
  • Experience with audience scoping and configuration in enterprise LMS environments

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Adult Learning & Development, Instructional Design, HR, or related field required (post-secondary required)
  • Certification in Instructional Design, Instructional Technology, or Human Performance Technology is an asset

Required Experience

  • 5 10 years of prior overall experience
  • 5 years of LMS platform administration experience (required)
  • 5 years of experience interpreting and applying HR data for audience targeting
  • 5 years of experience with ticketing systems and workflow tools

Nice-to-Have Experience

  • Prior experience with SumTotal LMS 5 years (purchased by Cornerstone)
  • Instructional Design, HR, or related field background is an asset
