Role Purpose
To deliver high-quality lawn applications, diagnose turf issues, and provide a consistent, professional customer experience that drives lawn health and customer satisfaction.
Primary Responsibilities
Daily
- Complete scheduled lawn applications (fertilizer, weed control, grub/pest treatments)
- Document all services in RealGreen with detailed notes and recommendation.
- Inspect property for disease, decline, weeds, and treatment needs
- Communicate with customers when on-site (door hangers, notes, knock-only when needed)
- Maintain equipment and truck cleanliness
Weekly
- Review weekly route and confirm supply needs
- Communicate recurring lawn issues to Lawn Production Manager
- Seasonal
- Spring: heavy fertilization/weed pre-emerge, customer education
- Summer: heat/disease monitoring, homeowner communication
- Fall: overwinter treatments, aeration seeding support
Performance Standards
- Average customer satisfaction score: 90%+
- <5 documented service redos per month
- 100% RealGreen documentation compliance
- Routes completed within scheduled timeframes
Boundaries
CAN:
- Recommend additional
- technical solutions directly to customers
- Request schedule adjustments with manager approval
CANNOT:
- Change pricing
- Add/remove customers from routes
- Issue refunds/credits
