This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors, operating equipment, and working with their hands. Previous lawn care or landscaping experience is helpful, but not required. We provide on-the-job training for dependable individuals who are willing to learn.

If you have experience in landscaping, lawn care, groundskeeping, golf course maintenance, property maintenance, parks and recreation, agriculture, outdoor labor, or construction, your experience may transfer well to this position.

What You'll Do

As a Lawn Maintenance Technician, you will work as part of a field crew to maintain residential and commercial properties throughout the Houston area.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Operate zero-turn mowers to maintain lawns and landscaped areas
• Use string trimmers, edgers, leaf blowers, rakes, and other lawn-care equipment
• Mow, edge, trim, and maintain lawns and outdoor areas
• Remove leaves, grass clippings, branches, trash, and other debris
• Assist with seasonal property cleanups
• Prune small shrubs and plants as directed by the crew leader
• Assist with weed management, mulching, flower installation, and sod installation
• Perform daily equipment inspections and report equipment issues
• Properly load, secure, and maintain tools and equipment on crew trailers
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe
• Follow all company safety procedures and wear required PPE
• Work as part of a team and take direction from crew leaders and supervisors

What We're Looking For

We're looking for dependable individuals who enjoy outdoor work and are willing to learn new skills.

Required:

• Reliable transportation to and from work
• Ability to report to work by 6:00 AM
• Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work throughout the workday
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, and work outdoors
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat, humidity, and rain
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Ability to work weekends and holidays when project needs require

Preferred, but not required:

• Lawn care or landscaping experience
• Zero-turn mower experience
• Groundskeeping experience
• Golf course or parks maintenance experience
• Property maintenance experience
• Experience using string trimmers, edgers, blowers, or other landscaping equipment
• Irrigation, pruning, mulching, or sod installation experience
• Construction or other outdoor labor experience
